Lawyers and Law in Brazil

Famously known for being the home of best footballers to ever grace this continent, Brazil is one of the most diverse countries in the world. It is the largest country in South America and borders most of its fellow countries in the continent. Law and order is a fundamental factor in the smooth running of any nation. Brazil is said to have the highest number of learned lawyers in the whole world; this is due to the increase of law schools gradually since the start of the decade.

Lawyers usually major in different fields according to their specialty. This includes;
• Family law and divorce
Family issues like child custody (residential responsibility), divorce and parenting time modification can be a nuisance to deal with.
• Estate planning
This is something that people do not consider until later in life. Whether you want to write a will or a testament, you will require a good lawyer to ease up this task for you.
• Court accusation
Whether you are rightfully or falsely accused of breaking the law, a good lawyer is your best chance of ensuring that you do not go to jail.

Lawyers are spread all over towns in Brazil. One outstanding lawyer is Ricardo Tosto de Oliveira Carvalho. Mr. Tosto is a prominent and leading strategist in Brazilian legal representation. He had a humble beginning in a small office and rose through the ranks to finally form the most experienced litigation law firm.

Mr. Tosto has defended many companies, multinationals and public figures with an amazing success rate. He was among the forerunners in the adaptation of various legal mechanisms which are currently in place in Brazilian legal community. He has mentored many lawyers who started off as interns in his firm.

Brazil constitution requires that all lawyers should have the necessary qualifications to practice law. Ordinary citizens know only a few rules, the constitution covers a wide area and only a specialist is able to solve complicated matters. Lawyers with experience are highly suited to dealing with a case but that does not mean that a young lawyer is any different.
